Camille Harlan is an experienced registered nurse and trial attorney, which enables her to evaluate medical issues as well as illustrate liability in a wide range of cases in the courtroom.

Camille became a registered nurse in 1981 and worked extensively in a wide range of hospital settings including the Neuro-Medical ICU, the Emergency Department and as an administrative officer coordinating care for nurses at a regional hospital in Ohio.

Her experience as a care provider in multiple fields as well as her insights in hospital policies, protocols, staffing and management make her invaluable when reviewing any case involving medical malpractice, personal injury or products liability.

In 1986, Camille received a degree in Communications from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Camille continued her education by attending the University of Dayton School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate degree in 1994. While studying for her law degree, Camille was selected to the Dayton Law School’s National Mock Trial Team where she was awarded the Regional Best Oralist signifying the best trial advocate in the National Semi-Finals tournament in Detroit, MI. Thereafter, Camille gained valuable trial training by advancing and participating in the National Mock Trial Tournament in San Antonio, TX. As a working mother of four children, Camille was able to attend Dayton Law School after being awarded an Academic Merit Scholarship.

Upon graduation from law school, Camille utilized her experience in the medical field, as well as her degrees in communication and law, to provide a diverse client base the best service possible through her skills in a courtroom. Camille has represented criminal defendants who are unable to pay for legal service, physicians and hospitals in a wide range of civil matters, as well as helping families and their children in domestic relations and adoption matters.

Camille’s experience also includes a current appointment as Acting Municipal Judge on the Darke County’s Municipal Court as well as serving as The City of Greenville’s Law Director.

Camille’s practice now focuses on medical malpractice and personal injury liability where she is able to utilize her medical knowledge and courtroom skills to provide the best possible outcome to clients of Fliehman Law Group.

Camille is especially attuned to liability issues through her frequent presentations to the medical community as a sought-after continuing medical education lecturer. In this capacity Camille presents multiple topics to a wide-ranging audience including nursing home and hospital-based healthcare organizations.

Camille is certified in Pediatric and Adult Advanced Life Support. She is also a member of various medical and legal associations, including the American Association of Nurse Attorneys, the American and Ohio State Bar Associations and the Ohio Association of Municipal League Attorneys.
